1. General Information

Product ordered via online will be delivered within 2-3 Working days after the confirmation of payment from credit card services provider or by PAYPAL.
Please note that we do work with third party for deliveries from time to time and by our own carrier as well to the nearest location in Greater Toronto area.

  1. Delivery Location

Items offered on our website will be delivered to the address which the customer has filled in at the time of placing an order. If there is any mistake from the customer side, delay will occur and extra charges will be applied to redirect the shipment.

  1. Delivery Time

An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your order within 3-4 business days of the date of your order. Business day mean Monday to Friday, except holidays.
Please note we do not ship on [Sundays].
Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.

  1. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost, simple add the items you would like to purchase to your cart, and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed.
Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for large or heavy items. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page.
Sales tax is charged according to the province or territory to which the item is shipped.

Please note that the shipping costs provided are approximate only.

Contact us to get the final shipping cost on the day of your purchase or LAKSI will provide a final shipping cost at the time of shipping only.

Shipping costs quoted verbally or via email based on the address given by the customer do apply only to commercial locations with easy access to drop-off. Extra charges from the carriers will be back charged to the customer if the carrier claims nonresidential or any limited access issues at the time of delivery.  If the access issue is limited on the delivery address, customers are requested to call and inform LAKSI so that they can get a firm price from the carrier.

If the carrier charges LAKSI for any delivery or limited access issues, we will charge back the customer by providing proof from the carrier for the extra charges.

Limited Access definition :

This includes but is not limited to gated areas, camps, farms, government buildings, religious institutions, educational and research institutes, construction sites, mall/shopping plazas, storage units, and commercial locations which are not open to the public.

It is the customer’s responsibility to let us know if the delivery address falls into the above-mentioned places.

If the Customer fails to let Laksi staff know at the time of the estimate process and if the carrier charges back to LAKSI, Laksi will now charge back to the customer.

  1. Damaged Items in Transport

If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, contact us immediately. To prevent this, we strongly recommend you to contact us for additional insurance. Shipping costs quoted in the website is without insurance.

Laksi will not take responsibility for damages that occurred on shipping. If the product package is damaged on receiving, please let your carrier know and open a claim from your end.
